Shakti Prayer
A Visionary Solitude Fast
March 5–10, 2026 · Victoria, Australia
What is Shakti Prayer
Shakti Prayer is a land-based rite of solitude, fasting, and deep listening.
For several days, participants step out of daily life and into a simple ceremonial container held by the Earth itself. In silence and intentional solitude, each person enters direct relationship with body, land, and the living intelligence that moves through all of life.
This is not a retreat.
It is not a workshop or a teaching.
It is not a performance or a promise of outcomes.
Shakti Prayer is an act of devotion... a willingness to listen without agenda.
Across cultures and throughout history, humans have fasted, prayed, and stood alone on the land in order to realign with truth, direction, and life itself. This work arises from that universal human impulse, while remaining rooted in the place, time, and people who gather here.
The Orientation
In this work, Shakti is understood not as a religious figure, but as the living intelligence of Earth and body... the animating force that moves through nature, instinct, sensation, and life itself.
Prayer is approached not as asking, but as listening.
Participants are guided into relationship with the land through:
-
Extended periods of solitude
-
Fasting or deep dietary simplification (adapted with care and support)
-
Silence and reduced sensory input
-
Prayer as presence, attention, and attunement
-
Time with the elements: earth, fire, air, water, and night
What arises cannot be predicted or manufactured.
Insight, clarity, grief, renewal, or stillness come in their own way.
This is a practice of trust.
The Container
Shakti Prayer is carefully held.
While each participant enters their own solitary process, the field is supported through:
-
Clear ceremonial framing and preparation
-
Grounded guidance before, during, and after the fast
-
Ongoing prayer and land attunement by the holding team
-
Practical safety structures and check-ins
-
A collective opening and closing to mark the threshold and return
Participants are never abandoned... but they are not entertained, coached, or managed.
The land is the teacher.
Who This Is For
Shakti Prayer is open to women and men who feel called to step into solitude with sincerity.
It may be for you if:
-
You are at a threshold or turning point in life
-
You are seeking clarity rather than stimulation
-
You feel the pull toward prayer, devotion, or deep listening
-
You are willing to be alone, without distraction
-
You respect the land and your own inner process
This is not for those seeking peak experiences, visions on demand, or guided emotional catharsis.
This is for those willing to listen.

A Note on Lineage & Respect
Shakti Prayer is not a reproduction of any Indigenous or traditional ceremony.
While solitude fasts and land-based prayer appear across many cultures worldwide, this work is offered as a contemporary, place-based rite shaped by prayer, humility, and respect for living traditions.
We walk carefully.
We listen first.
We remain in right relationship with the land and the people whose ancestors belong to it.
Application
Participation in Shakti Prayer is by application.
This ensures the integrity of the container and that each participant enters with readiness and respect.
